I A GOLDEN EVENING ON WHIDBEY ISLAND I PNW PHOTOGRAPHER

It was one of those days that perfectly sums up life in the PNW.

It was peak salmon fishing season, so if you know me… I drove my OWN car to the dock that afternoon, so that i could leave a bit early. I literally stepped off the boat; hair tangled from the wind and headed straight to this session. I like to make a great first impression, ya know.

The sun was doing that thing the PNW does in August - warm, golden light that smells like summer but feels more like fall. And YES, I was still wearing my snowboarding jacket - because if you know anything about the PNW, you know we dress for all four seasons at any given moment.

When I arrived, i felt that familiar spark. The kind that reminds me why I LOVE this “job” so much! Some sessions just really feed your creative soul and this was one of them. The connection, the laughter, and the light all aligned perfectly.

I drove home with a full heart and a even fuller memory card. It was a great reminder that photography, for me isn’t just something I do - it’s something I feel and I’m so grateful for every single person who has allowed me to capture even a small chapter of their lives.

I BABY BODHI I

Welcome to the world little one. These girls are over the moon.

I BRYANNE'S MATERNITY I

There is something magical about being invited to capture a family’s milestones - not just once, but over the years. This family is so special to me.

| PAULEY WEDDING |

Nervous was an understatement. This was the largest wedding I had ever photographed. When i was told that there could be close to 300 people there, I almost panicked…well, actually i did panic.. not even going to lie. Because the bride and I had communicated so thoroughly ( and the help of my sister) It quite possibly could’ve been one of the most easy going weddings.

There was so much thought and detail into this wedding and it was wonderful seeing so many of their friends and family pull together to make their day so special and how much support the bride and groom truly had.

| LOPEZ WEDDING |

I met these two up in the mountains last year to do their engagement photos. I was so honored when they reached out and asked me to photograph their wedding. This wedding was absolutely gorgeous. 100% recommend. They literally had their reception in a TEPEE!! Aside from how wonderful the wedding was, Miguel and Caitlyn have been nothing but a pleasure to connect with.
